About Us

CUCE is a faith based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, Its membership consists of a coalition of clergy, community leaders of various denominations, and organizations throughout the five Boroughs and Long Island area of New York. CUCE’s goal is to improve the quality of life in the various communities we serve as we promote Christian unity, fellowship and love. CUCE, empowers clergy to effectively administer church operations and adapt our various ministries to meet the changing needs of our society.

Clergy United for Community Empowerment has been providing intervention services for members of our community since 1984. We got started by three ministers who wanted to do something about the various troubles plaguing the community. They decided to start a new organization that was focused on using churches to help assist members in need of clothing, shelter, and various intervention services.

With over 30 years of experience, our organization has helped a lot of people. The people we help love to see us because we provide personable attention. They are greeted with a smile and welcomed no matter the situation. We have a variety of resources to help people, and we will go above and beyond to offer the services they need. If we are unable to help them in their particular case, we will refer them to someone who can.
